Chocolate time! Do you ever feel guilty about eating a chocolate cake? Well, you shouldn’t this time, because this amazing brownie-cake is really guilt-free, to be honest! It’s absolutely vegan – no eggs, no dairy, and it’s also gluten-free!
By the way, I have to admit I have made tons of recipes trying to find the perfect chocolate cake. It should be soft, wet and fudgy, meanwhile it should keep itself together. The previous experiment was so dry that I actually had to make a huge cup of tea before I tried to eat it (although the taste was nice). So, this again is an example that only practice makes perfect. 🙂
What are the necessary ingredients?
For the cake-
-3-4 flax eggs (mix together 3 tablespoons of ground flax seeds together with 10 tablespoons of water. Leave the mixture for some minutes and then add to other products)
–3 tablespoons of cocoa
-2 huge, ripe avocados
-1 big, ripe banana
-8 tablespoons of oat bran
-150 ml of soy milk
-stevia (you may also use sugar, honey or agave syrup if you want, but it won’t be as guilt free as it is in my case 🙂 )
-1 tablespoon of baking powder
For the glaze
–dark chocolate 100g
-soy milk 150 ml
What should I do with it?
-Use the fork to mash the avocados together with the banana. Then add cocoa powder. Add stevia.
-In a spare bowl you will already have prepared the flax add (it will keep the mass together). Add it to the avocado-banana mass.
-In another spare bowl mix together oat bran and 150 ml of soy milk. Leave it for some minutes. After – add it to the mixture.
-Add the baking powder and mix together again. You may also add roasted nuts, raisins or prunes.
-Bake it in the oven for 35 minutes (180 degrees C). After – leave it to cool down, cause it’s still very soft.
-Meanwhile make the glaze. Put a bowl with chocolate and milk in a boiling water tray and slowly stir. Wait until it gets liquid.
-If the cake has cooled down, put it out of the cooking tray on a plate. When it’s ready you can pour the glaze over the cake.
